Common questions
Why did my streak go back to zero?
One wrong answer ends a run by design — that's the whole game. Your best streak is saved separately and never resets on its own.
How do I stop a run part-way through?
Tap End at the top of the screen. If you've already got a streak going, the app checks before ending it. Your best streak is kept either way.
What happens if I get every pair right?
The run ends there, because there are no new pairs left to show you. The summary says you've seen every pair, and your streak counts towards your best like any other run.
Why do I keep seeing the same pair?
Pairs you got wrong come back sooner, so you get another go at the ones that caught you out. Within a single run you'll never see the same pair twice.
I think an answer is wrong.
Every pair is checked to high precision before it ships, so the bigger side should always be right — but if the values or the explanation look off, please email the address above with both expressions as they appear on screen.
Does Bigger or Smaller need an internet connection?
No. The app works entirely offline — every pair, value, and explanation is on your device.
How do I start again from scratch?
Deleting the app and reinstalling it clears your best streak and the record of which pairs you've missed.
I think I found a bug. What should I include?
Email the address above with what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. If it involves a particular question, the two expressions on screen help a lot.
